Dues Payments
-
Pay your dues here! You can make a dues payment month-to-month or to set up a recurring payment.
Monthly dues are $135/month with a reduced rate option of $110/month or a solidarity rate option of $160/month. The $135/month “Base Rate” represents the “true cost” to train at Seven Star—this rate pays for our operational costs (the cost to run our business). Students who are able to pay the $160/month “Solidarity Rate” support our Reduced Rate options and nonprofit programs. The “Reduced Rate” option of $110/month is available for students who can’t pay the $135/month Base Rate. Apply for dues assistance below if the Reduced Rate option is cost prohibitive. Refer to this chart if you’d like to see how your dues payment breaks down on a “cost per class” basis.
Sign in here to manage an existing recurring payment. Refer to this handout on how to adjust your monthly recurring dues payment.
-
If our dues structure is cost prohibitive for you, we encourage you to apply for dues assistance. Apply here for dues assistance/reduced monthly dues. Dues assistance represents a reduced monthly dues rate of $45-$90 per month (sliding scale). Dues assistance applications are reviewed and approved administratively. You will be notified via email regarding your status and approval. Dues assistance applications are valid for a 3-month period and are renewable quarterly. You must re-apply after three months to maintain your reduced dues status. Contact Sifu Gina with questions gina@sevenstarwomenskungfu.com.
Donations
-
Support Seven Star by making a donation to the school. All donations are tax-deductible. Consider becoming a Seven Star Sustainer (monthly regular donation of $5-$25) or make one-time donations whenever! If your employer offers a matching program and you would like to donate in that way, please contact Sifu Gina, gina@sevenstarwomenskungfu.com.

A great way to build more community with one another is having an affinity space. There is a BIPOC Affinity Space slack channel. It is a private channel. If you wish to be added to the BIPOC Affinity Space slack channel you can: send a slack direct message (DM) or email to Sifu Gina, Lara, or Tiffany. No experience needed in creating, interacting or being in an affinity space. Please come as you are.

In 2023, we formed a Gender Education Working Group (GEWG) to provide recommendations on gender education and trainings, a values-alignment process, and creating a clear and transparent policy-making process for changes to our gender policy (prioritizing buy-in from the entire community). Discussions in this group are open to Seven Star members who wish to join the GEWG. Recommendations are passed to the steering committee and Sifus to be taken into consideration as part of the normal operations of the non-profit and the kwoon. You can get in touch with the GEWG by emailing sevenstargewo@googlegroups.com.
